Women In Film San Francisco Bay Area is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that actively provides networking, educational, and social opportunities for over 10,000 people who work in the screen arts and related entertainment fields in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We empower, promote, and celebrate women's creative work! Our mission is to provide critical support on creative works. WIFSFBA seeks to deliver useful solutions, build a strong community, and further the craft for women working at all levels in film, television, and digital media in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Women in Film San Francisco Bay Area is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive community for all individuals who align with our mission to uplift women and underrepresented genders in the film industry. We welcome members of all gender identities and expressions, including allies of any gender, who share our values of equity and inclusion.
We are also a chapter of Women In Film & Television, United States, (WIFTUS.org) which is a group of chapters across the United States that collaborate, raise awareness and support women in the industry across the nation.
As a Chapter of Women in Film & Television International (WIFTI.org), our members are also connected to a global network comprised of some 37 Women in Film Chapters worldwide with over 10,000 members, dedicated to advancing professional development and achievement for women working in all areas of film, video, and other screen-based media.
